Frequently Asked Questions

How do you bill for your services?

Our rates depend on the level and frequency of our services. Prior to performing any service we will issue an engagement letter stating our fees for the completion of the project. Our standard billing procedure is to bill monthly, however, during the tax filing season we bill at the completion of the project. We accept all standard forms of payment including major credit cards.

What hours are you available?

We are available during normal business hours, which are 9:00 to 5:00 P.M Monday through Friday. We would be happy to make special arrangements for evening or weekend consultations.  We have extended hours from February 1 – April 15 to accommodate our clients during tax season.

What role do you play if the IRS audits me?

We will represent you; however, a separate engagement letter will be issued for this service. Before your scheduled audit, we will perform a thorough review of your tax return and discuss any relevant issues with you. We recommend that you retain your tax information for no less than seven years.

How much and what kind of preparation do you need for my return?

We prefer that your 1040 Organizer is completed.  This will ensure that we can complete your tax return in the most efficient manner possible.  If we are preparing your 1065, 1120 or 1120s we ask that you provide the balance sheet for the year end and a profit and loss sheetContact us with questions about specific software packages.

If I received a letter from the IRS or State Government can you help?
